The Elder Scrolls Online Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim Is Now Live

The Elder Scrolls Online Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim is now available on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox. Running until January 27, 2027, the new season brings Skyrim-themed content, new ways to play solo, and several requested improvements. All Season Two content is free for all players.
To celebrate the launch, the Greymoor Chapter is now free for everyone, while the Markarth DLC will become available at no cost on November 9. More content and updates will arrive throughout the season, including new customisation options for companions and a minimap UI.
Solo Dungeons and Greymoor Chapter Are Now Free
One of the biggest additions in Season Two is the introduction of Solo Dungeons, allowing players to experience challenging dungeon content without needing to form a group.
Two dungeons are available to play solo at launch: Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. Both were previously part of the Wolfhunter DLC or available through ESO Plus, but are now free for all players.
The Greymoor Chapter is also free starting today. Set in Western Skyrim, it takes players through locations including Solitude, Blackreach, Morthal, and Dragon Bridge. The chapter features a story exploring the darker side of Skyrim, giving players another reason to revisit the region ahead of the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim this November.

Markarth DLC and New Companion Customisation
More Skyrim content will arrive on November 9, when the Markarth DLC becomes free for all players. A Skyrim-themed Golden Pursuit campaign will also begin, offering rewards for exploring the northern regions of Tamriel.
Later in the season, players will gain more ways to customise their companions, including options to change their helmets, hairstyles, facial adornments, and more.
Season Two will also introduce two major quality-of-life improvements. The first is ESO's first-ever Minimap UI, while the second increases the Furnishing Limits for player homes, giving players more freedom to decorate their properties.
January will also bring a new Golden Pursuits campaign themed around the Nowhere Vault, offering additional rewards for players exploring the puzzling experience introduced in Update 51.
Seasonal Events Return
Season Two also brings back several familiar events for players to enjoy. The Witches Festival is already live, followed by the Whitestrake's Mayhem PvP event in November and the New Life Festival in December.
With free DLC, solo dungeon support, new customisation options, and several long-requested improvements, Echoes of Skyrim offers plenty of reasons for players to return to The Elder Scrolls Online.
Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim is available now on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox, and runs until January 27, 2027.
