The Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1 Adds Animal Petting, Skill Resets, and Over 1,100 Fixes

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have released Update 1.1 for The Blood of Dawnwalker, the dark fantasy open-world action RPG. The first major post-launch update is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, introducing new features and more than 1,100 improvements and fixes.
New Features and Gameplay Changes
One of the biggest additions is the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new potion that allows players to reset and reallocate their Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism skill points. This gives players more freedom to experiment with different builds.
The update also introduces the ability to pet animals and adds a new Story difficulty for players looking for an easier experience. The previous Story difficulty has been renamed Forgiving.
Other improvements include:
Accessibility: New subtitle size options and an option to display subtitles for all dialogue.
Combat: Improved camera behaviour, targeting, and the responsiveness of Shadowstep and Planeshift abilities.
Gameplay: Improved inventory management, a merchant buyback feature, and rebalanced item upgrade costs.
Performance: Updated Frame Generation options and fixes for crashes, freezes, and frame rate drops.
Quest fixes: Improvements to several main story quests and side activities, addressing progression blockers, stuck characters, and broken objectives.
Visuals and audio: Fixes for character animations, lighting, textures, sound effects, and dialogue issues.
The patch also addresses numerous combat bugs, including problems with boss encounters, enemy behaviour, ability effects, and damage calculations.
