Bandai Namco has officially released a major content update for NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS, making Special Story Mode fan-favorite Nanashi Uchiha fully playable across all game modes. The update introduces new character mechanics alongside system balance changes and seasonal events on console and PC platforms.

Special Story Mode & Character Overview

Originally introduced as a primary antagonist in the game's original Special Story Mode, Nanashi Uchiha's storyline places her directly in opposition to Boruto Uzumaki. Exploited by the Uchiha clan during her past and turned into a weapon of war, her tragic history drives a deep-seated hatred for the shinobi world. As Boruto fights to protect the peace, the narrative explores her motivations and challenges players to look beyond her role as a traditional villain.

Update Highlights & Future Roadmap

In addition to Nanashi Uchiha's arrival, the latest patch introduces several system updates and events:

• Ninja Battle Revived Event: The community event returns, giving players another opportunity to compete and earn exclusive rewards.

• Proficiency Booster: A limited-time Proficiency Event is now active, speeding up character leveling and mastery progression.

• Special Challenges: New gameplay objectives have been added, unlocking unique player titles upon completion.
