EA SPORTS FC 27 Revealed With Mbappé and Bellingham as Cover Stars
Electronic Arts has officially revealed EA SPORTS FC 27, launching worldwide on September 25, 2026, with Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham revealed as the cover stars for the limited Ultimate Plus Edition.
Alongside the reveal, EA showcased the first gameplay trailer, highlighting new features across multiple modes, including a new social football experience, an improved Career Mode, and updates to Football Ultimate Team.
New Ways to Experience Football
EA SPORTS FC 27 introduces several new features designed to expand how players experience the game.
The biggest addition is The Grounds, a new social football playground connected to the Clubs experience. Players can enjoy casual matches, develop their created player, and explore different areas inspired by football culture while receiving guidance from football stars including Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, and Alex Hunter.
Career Mode also receives major improvements with a rebuilt Transfer Market, featuring smarter negotiations, dynamic bidding wars, and more realistic player values based on performance, potential, and club finances.
Meanwhile, Football Ultimate Team introduces the FUT Gallery, allowing players to collect and showcase Player Items from different clubs, leagues, nations, and campaigns while earning rewards and building their club identity.
Gameplay Improvements
EA says FC 27 will include community-driven gameplay improvements across all modes, focusing on smoother and more responsive football.

More dynamic corner situations.
Better attacking awareness.
Rebalanced AI defending.
Ultimate Plus Edition Details
The limited EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition will be available until August 31 and includes additional content such as:

EA SPORTS FC 27 launches on September 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The game will feature more than 21,000 players, 800 clubs and national teams, 130+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues, including major competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Bundesliga, LALIGA EA SPORTS, and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
