EA SPORTS FC 27 Ratings Revealed: Mbappé, Haaland, and Putellas Lead the Pack
EA Sports has officially kicked off ratings season for EA SPORTS FC 27, unveiling the top 27 men’s and women’s players in the game. Combining real-world match data with expert evaluation, the latest entries reflect another massive year for international football across 21,000+ licensed players, 800+ teams, and over 35 leagues.
At the very top of the men's rankings, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland lead the sport with matching 91 overall ratings. On the women's side, London City Lionesses midfielder Alexia Putellas maintains her crown as the highest-rated player in the game, also sitting at a 91 OVR.
Big Risers and Key Player Standouts
Several stars made significant jumps following strong domestic and international campaigns. Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise enjoyed one of the largest upgrades among elite men's players, climbing four points to a 90 OVR rating. Meanwhile, Manchester City’s Yui Hasegawa and Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton both received three-point upgrades to reach 88 OVR and 87 OVR, respectively.
The top rankings span several major clubs, with Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, and Real Madrid dominating the upper tiers across both divisions.

Alongside ratings drops, EA announced Destined for Glory, the first fan-voted campaign of the Ultimate Team season. Running from August 21 through September 10, players can visit the online database to vote on players they expect to make an impact this season. Selected items will earn live upgrades in Ultimate Team based on real-world match performance.
EA SPORTS FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Early access for Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition owners begins September 18, 2026. Pre-ordering either premium edition before August 31 unlocks an untradeable 85+ OVR International ICON item for Ultimate Team.
