Return to a Reality-Warped Manhattan
In CONTROL Resonant, players take on the role of Dylan Faden as he confronts a paranatural crisis spreading across a reality-warped Manhattan.
The sequel builds on the original game's supernatural setting and action, allowing Dylan to harness his powers and master the Aberrant, a shapeshifting melee weapon with multiple forms. Players will face dangerous enemies and massive bosses while exploring the distorted city.
Remedy says the game has received positive reactions since its digital release, with praise for its distinctive world, action, and emotional storytelling.
Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen thanked fans for their support and described the game's reception as a career highlight for the team.
CONTROL Resonant Merchandise Available for Pre-Order
Fans can also pre-order a collection of CONTROL Resonant merchandise through iam8bit until October 26, 2026, with shipping expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
The collection includes Corrupted Metro apparel, a Billboard Bumper Stickers Pack, an Atlantis Café Espresso Cup Set, three Federal Bureau of Control propaganda posters, and an FBC Magnet Set.
The posters recreate designs featured in the game and measure 16.5 by 23.3 inches.
Mac Version Coming Later This Year
A Mac version of CONTROL Resonant is also planned for release later in 2026 through Steam and the App Store.
CONTROL Resonant is developed and published by Remedy Entertainment, with Annapurna Pictures co-financing and co-producing the game as part of its strategic partnership with the studio.
