Battlefield 6 Season 5 Launches with New Maps, Rapid Royale, and Dead Space Event

Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC Season 5 begins today with Phase 1, titled Siege of Las Vegas. The new season introduces two maps, a faster-paced Battle Royale mode, and a limited-time event inspired by Dead Space.

Two New Maps Arrive in Season 5

Phase 1 adds two new maps to the battlefield: Vegas Strip and Area 51.

Vegas Strip brings the fight to the heart of Las Vegas, turning the famous neon-lit destination into a chaotic combat zone. Meanwhile, Area 51 takes players away from the city and into the perimeter of the secretive military facility.

Both locations offer new environments for players to explore as the conflict continues in Season 5.

Rapid Royale Brings Faster Battle Royale Matches

Battlefield REDSEC also introduces Rapid Royale, a compact, fast-paced take on the series' Battle Royale experience.

The objective remains familiar: be the last squad standing. However, matches feature fewer players and faster rounds, creating a more intense experience.

Players can earn redeploy tokens by eliminating enemies, allowing them to return to the fight. As the match progresses, however, the number of eliminations required to earn these tokens increases, making survival increasingly challenging.

Dead Space Limited-Time Event Begins October 20

Fans of Dead Space can also look forward to a special limited-time scenario running from October 20 to November 7.

The event celebrates the horror franchise with environmental areas inspired by the 2023 Dead Space remake, alongside exclusive cosmetics that players can unlock during the event.

With new maps, a faster Battle Royale experience, and a horror-themed crossover, Season 5 brings several additions to Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC.
