Bluey’s Happy Snaps Is Now Available on Consoles and PC

Bluey’s Happy Snaps launches worldwide, letting players explore familiar locations, take photos with Bluey and Bingo, discover Australian wildlife, and enjoy creative activities inspired by the hit animated series.

Gameloft has announced that Bluey’s Happy Snaps is now available globally on consoles and PC. Developed by Gameloft Brisbane in collaboration with Bluey producers Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, the game invites children and families to explore the show's world through photography, discovery, and imaginative play.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. It is also included with Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Explore Bluey’s World Through Photography

In Bluey’s Happy Snaps, players join Bluey and Bingo on an adventure using Dad's old camera to capture memories and discover familiar locations from the series.

Players can explore the Australian surroundings, photograph their favourite games, spot local wildlife, chase bin chickens, and uncover hidden surprises. The game supports solo play and a second player, allowing families to share the experience.

Photos can be added to an in-game scrapbook and customised with stickers inspired by the characters, wildlife, and activities players encounter. Bluey and Bingo can also unlock new outfits throughout the adventure.

Bring the Fun Into Real Life

Beyond its photography features, Bluey’s Happy Snaps includes a feature called Play for Real Life, designed to encourage children to continue their adventures away from the screen.

The feature suggests creative activities using everyday objects and surroundings, from building cushion forts to transforming cardboard boxes into imaginative creations. The goal is to turn ideas discovered in the game into real-world play.

Bindi Irwin Joins the Launch Celebration

Gameloft has partnered with Australian conservationist Bindi Irwin to celebrate the game's focus on wildlife and outdoor exploration.

Irwin appears in the game's Overview Trailer and has also discussed the game with her community on Instagram. More content featuring Irwin is expected in the coming weeks.

A longtime Bluey fan, Irwin previously appeared in the first season of the award-winning Bluey Book Reads short-form series.

Research Highlights the Game’s Focus on Creativity

The game's approach to play is supported by research led by Professor Daniel Johnson of Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child.

According to the research, the game supports children's autonomy, competence, and creativity through open-ended play and meaningful choices. These findings highlight its emphasis on allowing children to explore freely, make decisions, and carry their curiosity beyond the screen.
