Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven Review

Woolhaven is the biggest and newest addition to Cult of the Lamb, and after 50 hours of play time, it’s easily my favorite DLC so far. Devolver Digital and Massive Monster keep delivering top-notch content that never fails to impress. Each release manages to surpass the last, which is something you don’t see every day.

This expansion opens up an entirely new area to explore and introduces a formidable new villain to face. As you explore the dungeons, you’ll uncover hidden secrets, collect new items and weapons, and experience series of exciting new events. Along the way, you’ll meet a range of new NPCs, enjoy fresh scenes, and have fun interactions with familiar characters.

You’ll face a variety of new enemies, the toughest ones yet. Build new structures and finally expand your island. Raise animals, feed them, and level them up, higher levels mean they’ll drop more items for you to use in unlocking even more content.

The expansion also brings a new weather twist: snow. You’ll need to manage the cold carefully or risk your followers freezing to death. The more you explore and unlock, the easier it becomes to manage. And if snow isn’t your thing, you can always turn it off, but personally, I love the added challenge and excitement it brings.

This expansion will be pure joy for fans, just as it was for me, and I’ll always crave more Cult of the Lamb content. It offers at least 50 hours of exploration and unlocking everything, all for just $16.99 on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox.
