Auroch Digital and Big Fan Games have officially revealed the first gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, setting a release date for October 14, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also confirmed to launch later in the year.

The new trailer introduces the game’s main antagonist, Vashtorr the Arkifane, alongside a brand-new original track composed by Mick Gordon (DOOM, Wolfenstein).

What’s New in Boltgun 2?

  • New Campaign & Protagonists: Play as Ultramarine Malum Caedo or Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath as they race across systems to cleanse Vashtorr’s corruption and banish the demigod back to the Warp.

  • Expanded Arsenal & Enemies: Brings back high-octane boomer-shooter combat with expanded weaponry, featuring returning threats like Nurglings and Cultists alongside new foes including Bloodletters and Juggernauts.

  • Mick Gordon Soundtrack: Features heavy original compositions tailored for the sequel’s frantic action.
