Tales of Eternia Remastered Launches on Consoles and PC

Tales of Eternia Remastered is now available, bringing enhanced visuals, classic sound effects, new difficulty options, and quality-of-life improvements to the beloved action RPG.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has released Tales of Eternia Remastered, an enhanced version of the classic RPG originally released in 2006. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Experience an Adventure Across Two Worlds

Tales of Eternia Remastered follows Reid Hershel and his companions Farah, Keele, and Meredy on a journey to save two interconnected worlds from destruction.

Set in Eternia, the story takes place across Inferia and Celestia, two worlds separated by the sky. When the threat of the catastrophic Grand Fall emerges, the group must find a way to prevent the worlds from colliding.

Their journey leads them in search of the Greater Craymels, powerful elemental spirits that may hold the key to stopping the disaster. Along the way, the heroes will encounter memorable characters, face dangerous enemies, and confront challenges that test their bonds.

Switch Between Classic and Remastered Presentation

The remastered release introduces options that let players customise their experience while preserving the original game's identity.

The new Graphics Mode and SFX Mode allow players to switch between remastered and original visuals and sound effects, making it possible to enjoy the updated presentation or return to the classic experience.

New Features and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Several additions aim to make the adventure more accessible and flexible for returning fans and newcomers alike.

These include:

  • Boost feature: Adjust experience gains and encounter frequency.

  • Destination icons: Toggle navigation markers on or off.

  • High-speed mode: Speed up battles while using Auto mode.

  • Battle Retry and Quick Recovery: Additional options to help players get back into the action.

  • Extreme difficulty: Available from the beginning for players seeking a tougher challenge.

  • Unknown difficulty: A new difficulty level that unlocks after completing the game.

These features give players more control over combat difficulty, progression, and exploration.
