Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Gets Free Miami Zero DLC on PC and Xbox

Oct 16, 2026

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has received Miami Zero, a free expansion that takes players to the early days of the zombie outbreak with new survivors, quests, infection research, and an escape mission.

Brigada Games has released Miami Zero, a major free expansion for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check. Available now on PC and Xbox, the DLC takes players to Miami to investigate the origins of the zombie outbreak and deal with the chaos as the infection spreads.

The expansion is available at no additional cost to owners of the original game and is also included with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass.

Investigate the Beginning of the Outbreak

Miami Zero takes place during the first chaotic days of the infection, giving players a closer look at how the outbreak began before it spread across the world.

Unlike the original game's checkpoint setting, Miami offers a colourful but unpredictable environment filled with eccentric characters and new survivors. Players will encounter unfamiliar situations as they explore the city and attempt to understand the growing crisis.

Study New Mutations and Uncover the Truth

The infection continues to evolve, bringing new challenges for players to investigate. By studying mutations and tracing the virus back to its source, players can gradually piece together what happened in Miami.

However, the deeper they investigate, the more questions arise about whether the outbreak was really an accident.

Keep the Checkpoint Running and Find a Way Out

Survival remains a central part of the experience, but Miami Zero introduces a new objective: finding a way to escape the city.

Players must keep operations running while searching for survivors who can help repair a damaged luxury yacht. Restoring the vessel could provide the best chance of getting out of Miami before the situation becomes even worse.

The expansion also introduces new symptoms, tools, and challenges, adding more variety to the checkpoint simulation gameplay.
