Super Robot Wars Y Celebrates 35th Anniversary With Free Update and Massive DLC

Tactical mecha fans have a big reason to jump back into the cockpit today. Super Robot Wars Y is celebrating the franchise’s 35th anniversary with a massive wave of new content, including a free gameplay update and a content-packed expansion pack.

The free update rolls out immediately for all players, raising the pilot level cap to 200 and adding two special commemorative missions unlocked during Chapter 2. To help players gear up faster, the update also introduces a new "BOOST" mode. Activating this mode doubles your earned Experience, Credits, and MXP while drastically lowering unit upgrade and training costs.

For those wanting even more combat, the paid "Anniversary Expansion Pack" DLC launches today. The expansion adds a hefty chunk of new content to the tactical roster:

• 34 New Missions: 33 new Area Missions alongside a special purchase bonus mission.

• New Roster Additions: 5 new playable units and 1 new Assist Crew Member.

• Expanded Arsenal: 12 new weapons that can be equipped across all units.
