Bandai Namco shared some massive news this past weekend at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour in Los Angeles. Fans watching in person and online saw updates for several popular games, but the biggest surprise was the official reveal of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
The Future: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3
After months of teasing a project called “Age 1000,” the developers finally confirmed it is actually Xenoverse 3. This new game lets players create their own hero in a brand-new world designed by the series' creator, Akira Toriyama. It is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
The End of an Era: Xenoverse 2
After nearly 10 years of updates, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is finally coming to a close. The very last expansion, Future Saga: Chapter 4, arrives this summer. This final chapter will finish the game's long story with a massive battle involving god-like powers.
New Fighter for Dragon Ball FighterZ
A new version of Goku is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ on April 22. This DLC features Goku (Super Saiyan 4) from the DAIMA series. He uses a special move called "Wild Dash" that lets players quickly switch between different attacks to keep their opponents guessing.
Big Updates for Sparking! ZERO
New DLC is on the way for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. For the first time in this series, players can use Vegeta and Trunks from Dragon Ball GT. There is also a new costume and attack for "End of Z" Goku. Additionally, a new Solo Mode is being added where players can level up their favorite characters and make them stronger through battles.
Gekishin Squadra News
The mobile game Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is getting a crossover with Xenoverse 2. This will bring new character skins and emotes to the game soon. On top of that, the game will hold its first offline World Championship in Japan, bringing the best players from around the world together to compete for the top spot.
