DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero Adds 33 New Characters and New Mode

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero has received a major content update with the launch of the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC, bringing new characters, stages, and gameplay features to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The DLC will also arrive on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
New Limit Breaker Journey Mode
The biggest addition is the new Limit Breaker Journey mode, where players choose their favorite fighter and strengthen them through battles against increasingly powerful opponents.
As they progress, players can upgrade their character’s stats and customize their growth path to create a fighter that matches their preferred playstyle.
33 New Characters Join the Roster
The DLC expands the game’s roster with 33 new playable characters from across the Dragon Ball universe, including fighters from:
DRAGON BALL: Mercenary Tao, Grandpa Gohan, General Blue, Chi-Chi, Demon King Piccolo, and more.
DRAGON BALL Z: Supreme Kai, Uub (Kid), Bardock (Super Saiyan), Chilled, and others.
DRAGON BALL GT: Super 17, Vegeta (GT), Trunks (GT), Nuova Shenron, and Hell Fighter 17.
DRAGON BALL SUPER: Champa, Jaco, Cheelai, and more.
The update also adds four new stages.
Free Update Adds New Combat Mechanics
Alongside the DLC, a free update introduces new gameplay improvements, including:
Sparking Boost: A mechanic that allows players in Sparking Mode to spend Skill Stock for a powerful temporary attack boost, followed by a temporary stat reduction.
Chain Blast: A new combo system that lets players switch to reserve allies after launching an opponent to continue attacks with Blast abilities.
The update also includes three additional stage variants.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero – Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
