Wolfenstein Series Is Still Not Done

The head of MachineGames says Wolfenstein 3 is still in the works, nearly 12 years after the trilogy began: "It could happen now or later, but we're not finished with it."

Wolfenstein 3 is still in the works, with MachineGames committed to wrapping up the trilogy it started 11 years ago, according to studio director Jerk Gustafsson. In an interview with GameIndustry, Gustafsson mentioned the plan while discussing what’s next for the studio after its hit adaptation, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, he kept quiet on when fans can expect the final chapter of the alternate-history saga. “Our intention has always been to return to Wolfenstein,” he said. “We want to finish the trilogy. As for when, I can’t say, it could be now, it could be later, but we’re not done with it.”
