The Blood of Dawnwalker Release Date Announced

The Blood of Dawnwalker will officially launch on September 3 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco, this dark fantasy action RPG is now available for pre-order.

During the Road to Launch Event, the developers shared several major updates:

• Story and World: A new story trailer introduces the character Coen,the allies and enemies he meets in Vale Sangora, a mysterious region in the Carpathian Mountains.

• Gameplay Footage: Over 10 minutes of gameplay from the latest PC build was shown. It highlighted how exploration unlocks new abilities and how every player action influences the balance of power in the world.

• Combat Authenticity: Former UFC champion Jan Błachowicz provided motion capture for an antagonist named Bakir. His combat expertise was used to make the game’s strikes and movements feel heavy and realistic.

• Development Insights: A dev diary and commentary from the lead team members, including writers and animators, provided a deeper look at the narrative and open-world mechanics.

• Music and Media: The team revealed a new track called “Uphill Battle” through a music video featuring a live band. New game assets and the full event video are also available to view here.
