Four Devolver Announcements From PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct

BALL x PIT Risen Ballbylon Expansion Launches November 12
BALL x PIT is getting its biggest expansion yet. Risen Ballbylon will launch on November 12 for PC, consoles, and mobile, adding new characters, balls, enemies, bosses, levels, and gameplay mechanics to the roguelite.
Developed by Kenny Sun and Friends and published by Devolver Digital, BALL x PIT has sold more than two million copies since its release.
Rise Above the Pit
Risen Ballbylon takes players in a new direction, literally. Instead of descending further into the pit, players will travel upward to a floating version of the city above the abyss.
The expansion adds four new battlefields, each with its own boss, alongside more than 40 new enemies.
Players can also discover 45 new passive abilities, adding more ways to change how each run plays.
New Characters and Balls
The expansion introduces eight new characters, each with gameplay-changing abilities.
These include the Sentinel, who can aim in any direction, the Stonewaller, whose balls warp to the opposite side after hitting a wall, and the Right Hand Man, whose balls deal double damage against the right wall but half damage against the left.
There are also 24 new balls to experiment with and combine into different fusions. New additions include the Beast ball, which attaches to enemies, the Kaiju ball, which causes earthquakes, the Misfortune ball, which curses enemies, and the spiky Hedgehog ball.
More Ways to Build Your Base
Base building is also getting a major expansion with 20 new buildings.
Players can construct new structures such as the Floating Fortress, Crystal Monolith, Soup Kitchen, Circus Tent, and Fission Chamber.
The expansion also introduces crystals as a new resource, adding another layer to the game's economy and village management.
One important detail is that Risen Ballbylon's content is only accessible after completing the base game.
BALL x PIT: Risen Ballbylon launches on November 12 across all platforms for $6.99.
Quarantine Zone: Miami Zero Expansion Launches October 15
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is getting a major free expansion with Miami Zero, coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S on October 15.
Developed by Brigada Games and published by Devolver Digital, the expansion takes players back to Miami, Florida, during the early days of the zombie outbreak.
Discover How the Outbreak Began
Miami Zero lets players investigate the origins of the infection while dealing with a new cast of characters and an outbreak that is quickly getting out of control.
Players will be able to study new virus mutations and follow clues that could reveal how the infection started.
The expansion also introduces new symptoms, tools, and challenges as the situation in Miami becomes increasingly difficult to manage.
Find a Way Out of Miami
Players will still need to operate their checkpoint while preparing for a much bigger challenge: escaping the city.
Survivors can be recruited to help repair a damaged luxury yacht, which could become the group's best chance of getting out of Miami.
And when infected suspects need to be dealt with, the expansion offers a rather unusual solution: feeding them to the sharks.
Quarantine Zone: Miami Zero launches on October 15 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
The expansion will be free for everyone who owns Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
