Cronos: The New Dawn – Lazarus DLC Launches December 3, 2026, for PC and Consoles
Bloober Team has announced that Cronos: Lazarus, the upcoming DLC for its sci-fi survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, will launch on December 3, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Priced at $9.99, the expansion will introduce a new story chapter, additional weapons and abilities, and a dangerous new enemy.
Alongside the announcement, Bloober Team released a new story trailer offering a closer look at the expansion's narrative, including the brutal confrontation between the Tracker and the Pathfinder.
Discover the Pathfinder's Origins
Cronos: Lazarus takes players back to the dark sci-fi horror universe of Cronos: The New Dawn, exploring events that take place before the original game.
Players will step into the role of the Pathfinder, an elite agent of the Collective, and uncover the events that eventually lead to his transformation into the Warden.
The expansion will also reveal more about the Collective, its secrets, and the consequences of going against its authority.
Like the original game, the DLC retains Bloober Team's signature survival horror atmosphere, resource management, and intense encounters. However, combat will take a faster and more aggressive direction, requiring players to react quickly and make better use of their abilities.
New Abilities and Weapons
To survive the challenges ahead, players will have access to several new abilities and weapons.
One of the new abilities is teleportation, allowing the Pathfinder to reposition quickly during combat. Another is a decoy that distracts enemies while briefly making the player invisible, providing opportunities to escape dangerous encounters or gain an advantage.
The expansion also introduces the Gladius, a faster and deadlier weapon compared to the original game's dagger, giving players another option when facing increasingly dangerous enemies.
The Tracker Is Hunting You
One of the biggest threats in the expansion is the Tracker, a relentless envoy of the Collective tasked with hunting down the Pathfinder.
The Tracker's mission is to stop him from completing a revival operation that the organization must never discover. Players will need to survive this pursuit while uncovering the truth behind the Collective's hidden agenda.
