Bluey’s Happy Snaps Launches October 15
Gameloft has announced that Bluey’s Happy Snaps, a new adventure game based on the hit animated series, will launch on October 15, 2026, for PC and consoles.
The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox on PC, Epic Games Store, and Steam. It will also be available day one through Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Developed by Gameloft Brisbane in collaboration with Bluey producers Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, the game is set in Bluey’s hometown of Brisbane, Australia.
Explore Brisbane With Bluey and Bingo
In Bluey’s Happy Snaps, players can explore familiar locations alongside Bluey and Bingo while using Dad’s old camera to capture different moments and add them to a personal scrapbook.
The game features locations inspired by the series, including New Farm Park, South Bank, and Mount Coot-tha, alongside Australian wildlife, familiar characters, and details from the show.
Players can also meet characters such as Muffin, Coco, Winton, and Lucky, while taking part in games inspired by the series, including Shadowlands and Magic Potion.
The game supports up to two players, allowing families and friends to explore Brisbane and capture memories together.
Designed for Creative Play
Gameloft says the game was designed to encourage creativity and open-ended play, with players given the freedom to explore and decide how they want to interact with the world.
Research led by Professor Daniel Johnson of Queensland University of Technology and the Digital Child also examined the game's approach to children's digital play, highlighting its focus on autonomy, creativity, family relationships, and encouraging activities away from the screen.
“Many of us who worked on developing Bluey’s Happy Snaps are parents ourselves, which is why we wanted to create a game that we could feel proud and comfortable playing with our own kids,” said Manea Castet, Studio Manager at Gameloft Brisbane.
Pre-Orders and Editions
Pre-orders are now available digitally on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Epic Games Store.
For a limited time, players who pre-order digitally will receive the Deluxe Edition content at no additional cost. The same offer will be available on Steam when the game launches.
The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99 USD / €39.99, while the Deluxe Edition normally costs $54.99 USD.
The Deluxe Edition includes additional dress-up items for Bluey and Bingo, the “Here Come the Grannies” bonus content, and a digital album featuring artwork from the game's development.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps launches on October 15, 2026. The Japanese digital release will also take place on October 15, while physical editions in Japan will follow on November 26.
